They don’t make saga’s like this anymore..what an epic and heart breaking story!😢 Tristen was in such a good place when he came back, Suzanna was not meant to be with him.. the heartache everyone feels watching this movie. When you said “was it Samuel, the baby??” And the face with the “WHAT?!” 😅😅

We don't really find out why Jerry needed money so much that he came up with taking the ransom from his kidnapping plot. We know he was running a scam at the dealership getting money for cars that didn't exist, but that was probably just a short-term fix that he'd have to pay back the money on. From what we do know about Jerry, whatever he was doing probably wasn't legal. Or smart.

Such a phenomenal movie. Anthony Hopkins, Aiden Quinn…exceptional. Brad Pitt was heart-wrenching. I have seen this movie so many times, and sob every time.

Love this movie, it has nearly everything...Brad Pitt with short hair, Brad Pitt with medium hair, and Brad Pitt with long hair. I mean, what more could the people ask for?😍 Seriously though, this is an excellent film with a stellar cast and some truly important themes, plus a brilliant Soundtrack by James Horner (from which I made a video for "Wild Horses") "It was a Good Death..."

There was no knowledge of the danger of tobacco back then. Not even close. Everyone smoked and there was zero fear in the public that it could be harmful. I don't think official warnings came out until the 70's.

Probably shouldn't overthink your reactions with so many guesses and conversations about guesses that turn out to be way off. You wind up talking over more information they're giving you. A lot of channels seem to make that mistake.

My fav reactors to one of my fav films! I was younger when I first watched it and so many emotional up and downs for me. I was mad at the dad because he blindly played favorites and felt bad for Alfred for the way the dad treated him. But as I grew older, I grew to appreciate this realistic depiction of many real life families
